Finding Us Is Easy. . . Marion's Old Homeplace is located just off of Highway 21 south of Sparta in Glade Valley. Whether you are traveling north, south, east, or west you can find a road that will lead you to the Homeplace. Please follow the directions below.

• If you are traveling from the south, such as from Winston-Salem, Greensboro, Raleigh, Statesville, or Charlotte, take Interstate 77 to exit 83. Exit 83 will connect Interstate 77 and Highway 21. Follow Highway 21 to the top of the mountain and through Roaring Gap. From Roaring Gap, it is approximately 8 miles to Galde Valley. Turn right on Glade Valley Road. The Homeplace will set on the left approximately 1/2 mile after you turn onto Galde Valley Road.

• If you are traveling from the north, such as from Roanoke or Wytheville, take Interstate 81 to connect to Interstate 77 south. Follow Interstate 77 south until it connects ith Highway 58. Travel Highway 58 into Galax, Va. From Galax you can take Highway 89 to Highway 18 south. Highway 18 south will lead into Sparta. Turn left onto Highway 21 and travel approximately 4 miles to Galde Valley Road. Turn left onto Glade Valley Road. The Homeplace will set on the left approximately 1/2 mile after you turn onto Glade Valley Road. If you decide to stay on Highway 58, travel through Galaxa and into Independence, Va. Turn left onto Highway 21 south and follow it to Sparta. Travel through Sparta approximately 4 miles to Glade Valley Road. Turn left onto Glade Valley Road.

• If you are traveling from the west, such as from North Wilkesboro, take Highway 18 north to Sparta. At Sparta, turn right onto Highway 21 south. Travel approximately 4 miles to Glade Valley Road. Turn left onto Glade Valley Road.
